                                    The note is located on the recto-side of its first leaf.
                                    The bifolium is made from an old envelope. On the inside, parts
                                    of the address <q>Kongl. Majestat<ex>is</ex></q> and <q>here secreter <gap/></q> are still readable. 
                                    In the lower outer corners, remnants of a red applied seal (possibly shellac) are visible.</item>
                                    <item>AM-slip b (<dimensions type="slip"
                                        unit="mm"> <height>165</height> <width>104</width></dimensions>) is a bifolium. It belongs to 
                                        <ref>AM 116 II 8vo CU2</ref> and reads in the hand of
                                        <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>: 
                                        <q type="AMSlip" xml:lang="is">Hrafnkels
                                        saga Gunnars saga Kelldugnups fifls.</q>
                                    This bifolium is also made from an envelope. It was addressed to
                                    <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name> residing in Skálholt, and remnants
                                    of the red applied seal are preserved in the mostly torn out corners of the leaves.</item>
                                    <item>Slip c (<dimensions type="slip" unit="mm">
                                        <height>152</height> <width>90</width> </dimensions>) also belongs to
                                        <ref>AM 116 II 8vo CU2</ref>.

                                    <p>Some leaves are rather dark and have stains, while other leaves are relatively clean. Especially dark are fols.

                                        <p>There is a stain from liquid visible in the top outer corners of almost all leaves. The stain becomes larger towards

                                    <condition><p>The leaves have darkened considerably, especially at the quire boundaries (fols. <locus>1r</locus>,
                                        <locus>8v-9r</locus>, <locus>16v-17r</locus>, <locus>24v-25r</locus>, <locus>32v-33r</locus> and <locus>40v</locus>),
                                        but also fols. <locus>4v-5r</locus>, <locus>20v-21r</locus>, <locus>22v-23r</locus> and
                                        <locus>36v-37r</locus>. <note>Fol. 40v is darker, but a relative cleanliness in the centre of the page indicates that is was
                                            probably not at the end of a manuscript but rather followed by another quire.</note>

                                        <p>There are many stains through-out the manuscript. On the last four leaves, there are large brown stains, which are very pronounced in the top and outer margin (middle).</p>
                                    <p>Many leaves have been repaired extensively at the edges and close to the spine using Japanese paper.</p>

                                    the word <q>kaprún</q>. The lines were written in light brown ink,
