									<condition><p>The leaves have darkened considerably and there are many stains throughout the
										manuscript.</p>
										<p>Fols. <locus>3v-4r</locus> are especially dark.</p>
										<p>The leaves are untrimmed.</p>
										<p>All leaves have been repaired close to the spine and many at the fore-edge and the corners as well.</p>
									<p>There is a large yellowish-brown stain in the centre of fol. <locus>2r</locus>.</p></condition>

							<additions><p>On fol. <locus>1r</locus>, a later hand has added <q>Katrijn [..]or[..]dett[..]</q> and decorative squiggles around that.</p>
							<p>On the lower half of fol. <locus>4v</locus> different hands have added their names and other pen trials and squiggles.
							Among the legible names are <q>Snorre Magnusson Meh</q> and <q>Biarna Arnason<ex>n</ex> med <gap/></q>.</p></additions>
							<bindingDesc><binding><p>the manuscript is bound in a grey cardboard binding from the period <date notBefore="1771" notAfter="1780">1771-1780</date>.
								On the front cover, the title and the shelfmark (including the letter) were written using dark brown ink.
								There are two stickers for the shelfmark and the running number on the spine. The pastedown is made from printed material.</p></binding>
