                                            a Maid of Dort watermark (fence?). The chain-lines are running vertically.</p></watermark>

                                        A later hand has added the missing pagination in pencil on the recto-pages.</foliation>

                                        <p>All egdes are dirty. Close to the fore-edge of fol. 74v, the outer 20 mm are especially dirty, while the rest of the page
                                        is cleaner. <note>This indicates that the manuscript may have been stored in a bifolium that was shorter than the manuscript.</note></p>

                                correlate to 3-9 lines. The initials are bolder than other letters and were decorated with floral ornaments and additional lines.
                                The initial on fol. <locus>63r</locus> (Þ) moreover has a face in the bow.</decoNote>
                                <decoNote type="paratext">The catchwords are decorated with varying squiggles.</decoNote>
                                <decoNote type="paratext">There are small line fillers at the end of verses. At the end of each ríma, there are three line fillers.</decoNote>
                                <decoNote type="paratext">The title and the first line of text are distinguished from the 
                                    rest by means of a different script type (chancery).</decoNote></decoDesc>
                            <additions><p>There are a few additions and corrections to the text made by the scribe.</p></additions> 
                            <bindingDesc><binding><p>The binding is from <name type="person" key="JenWeb001">Jens Jacob Weber</name>'s time, 
                                i.e. <date from="1771" to="1870">1771-1780</date>. It is made from grey cardboard and uses printed material as pastedown.
                                On the front cover, the shelfmark (including the letter) and the title of the text were written in ink. 
                                On the spine, there are two stickers for the shelfmark and the running number.</p></binding></bindingDesc>

                                <p>An <locus from="accMat01r" to="accMat01v">AM-slip</locus> 
                                    (<dimensions type="slip" unit="mm"><height>163</height><width>109</width></dimensions>) 
                                    is attached in front of the manuscript.
                                    The same scribe who has written the AM-slip and fol. <locus>1v</locus> of <ref>AM 615 o 4to</ref> has written on this slip:
                                    <q>Þessar Rimur eru
                                        komnar fra Eyolfe i Längey til Jöns Magnus sonar, en<ex>n</ex> frä Honum til min
                                        1707.</q></p>
                                <p>On the verso-side of the AM-slip there are crossed-out remnants of a family tree in <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>'s hand.
                                    The first field in the second row reads <q>Jon prestur ad qvenna brecku i Middỏlum</q>, while the second field reads <q>Jorunn</q>. 
                                    The larger field below reads <q>Magnus</q>, who is the son of Jón and Jörunn, i.e. <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>'s father.
                                    <note>The verso-side of the AM-slip in <ref>AM 615 o 4to</ref> shows the same kind of family tree, but centred around <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>'s
                                        mother.</note>
