							from <date notBefore="1975" notAfter="1976">1975-1976</date>.</p>
						<p>Before, the manuscript was bound in a grey cardboard binding from <name type="person" key="JenWeb001">Jens Jacob Weber</name>'s time
						(<date notBefore="1771" notAfter="1780">1771-1780</date>). On the front cover of this binding, 
							<q>No 588 P in 8vo. Saga af Sigurde Fot - af Bæring Fagra - af Alafleck</q> was written in black ink. On the spine,
							there are remnants of two stickers for the shelfmark and
						the running number. Underneath the green sticker for the shelfmark, <q>588 P</q> can be read, which was written onto the spine
							by the same hand as the text on the front cover using similar ink. The pastedown is made from printed material.</p></binding>

								The same hand has added the (incorrect) shelfmark <q>588 c</q> in the upper right-hand corner of the leaf. A different hand corrected
								the shelfmark by crossing out the letter <q>c</q> with a pencil. <note>The correction was possibly done by the modern foliator.</note></p>
								<p>On fol. <locus>1r</locus>, the first two lines of text were crossed out using brown ink.</p> 
								<p>On fol. <locus>7v</locus>, the last two and a half lines were crossed out in the same brown ink as was used on the first page.</p></additions>
