                        <bindingDesc><binding><p>The manuscript is bound in a grey cardboard binding (<dimensions type="binding" unit="mm"
                            ><height>214</height><width>167</width><depth>6</depth></dimensions>)
                             from <name type="person" key="JenWeb001">Jens Jacob Weber</name>'s time, i.e.
                            <date from="1771" to="1780">1771-1780</date>. The pastedown 
                            is made from printed material (on which the page numbers "262" and "263" can be read). 
                            On the outside of the front cover, the shelfmark <q>No 554 I</q> and the title
                            were written in ink. On the spine, there are two stickers for the shelfmark and the running number.</p></binding></bindingDesc>

                        <origin><p>The codicological unit was written in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace>.
                            Kålund dates it to the
                            <date notBefore="1601" notAfter="1700">seventeenth century</date> <bibl>
                                <ref target="KKKat">Katalog I</ref>, <biblScope unit="page">703</biblScope></bibl>, 
                            but the active period of the scribe was ca. <origDate notBefore="1620" notAfter="1670"
                                    >1620-1670</origDate>.</p>

                        <provenance><p><name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name> 
                            received the manuscript, of which this codicological unit was a part, from <name key="GudTho006" type="person">Guðmundur Þorleifsson</name> in Brokey
                            in <date when="1703">1703</date>
