<note>The deletion of <title>Hákonar þáttur Hárekssonar</title> on the slip correlates with the fact
that the third leaf (containing the beginning of
<title>Króka-Refs saga</title>) is a singleton, but may have formed a bifolium together with
fol. <locus>10</locus> of the following CU (see collation), thus forming a larger quire that contained
                                both <title>Hákonar þáttur Hárekssonar</title> and <title>Króka-Refs saga</title>.
                                Moreover, <title>Hákonar þáttur Hárekssonar</title> is not mentioned by <name type="person" key="JonOla003">Jón Ólafsson</name> in
<ref>AM 456 fol., 21v</ref>, but <title>Króka-Refs saga</title> is said to be missing its beginning.
Therefore it can be deduced that the AM-slip in its current state was meant to be with
<ref>AM 554 h α 4to CU2</ref>, but that is was originally the slip for a larger unit containing both texts.
