                                The current binding is a modern half binding with canvas on the boards from <date when="1990">March 1990</date>. It was made in <name type="place">Copenhagen</name>
                                prior to the manuscript being sent to Iceland.</p></binding>

                                    <p>Before, the manuscript was bound in
                                        a dark half binding from <name type="person" key="KriKaa001">Kålund</name>'s time.  
                                       The boards of that binding were covered with dark marbled paper.</p>
