								<condition><p>The leaves are relatively clean, except for the first and the last page, which are stained.</p>
								<p>The edges are not trimmed and are darker than the rest of the leaves.</p>
								<p>Some bifolia were repaired close to the spine.</p></condition>

							and is decorated with additional strokes. Other
						initials span 1-2 lines and are emphasised by means of additional loops and curls.</decoNote>

						<decoNote type="paratext">The catchwords are decorated with squiggles. Similar decoration is found on the opposite side (in the outer bottom corner of

						<additions><p>After the text was written, some parts were underlined and marked with "NB" in the margins. Based on the ink used, this could 
						at least in part be done by the scribe himself.</p></additions>
						<bindingDesc><binding><p>The current binding is a modern half binding with fabric on the boards. It was made
							in <date when="1982">1982</date>
							under <name type="person" key="BirDall001">Birgitte Dall</name>.</p>
							<p>An older binding is included in the same box.
							It is a half binding with parchment on the spine and brown marbled paper on the boards. Previously, there were reused parchment leaves on the boards, but they were taken off
							during <name type="person" key="KriKaa001">Kålund</name>'s time, i.e. ca. <date notBefore="1880" notAfter="1919">1880-1919</date>, 
								and are now part of <ref>AM Access. 7 b</ref> (Hs 61).</p></binding></bindingDesc> 
							<p>The codicological unit was written in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace>.
								Kålund dates it to <origDate notBefore="1690" notAfter="1710">ca. 1700</origDate> 
								<bibl><ref target="KKKat">Katalog I</ref>, 
									<biblScope unit="page">583</biblScope></bibl>.</p>
							<p><name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>
								bought the larger manuscript, of which this was a part, from <name type="person" key="ThoTor001">Torfæus</name>'s widow in <date when="1720">1720</date>
								as can be seen from the AM-slips in <ref type="ms" target="AM040521a">AM 521 a 4to</ref> and <ref type="ms" target="AM040403">AM 403 4to</ref> 
								<bibl>Finnur Jónsson 1930, <biblScope unit="volume">I.1</biblScope>: <biblScope unit="page">417</biblScope></bibl>.
								According to his own statement, <name type="person" key="ThoTor001">Torfæus</name> 
								had previously obtained all three parts from <name type="person" key="ArnMg001">Árni</name> <bibl>Kålund 1909, <biblScope unit="page">76</biblScope></bibl>.
