                     <origin>The codicological unit was written in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace> by <name type="person" key="JonTho058">Jón Þórðarson</name>.
                       According to the colophon in the other parts of the original manuscript, it was written in 
                       <origDate notBefore="1651" notAfter="1700">the second half of the seventeenth century</origDate>.
                     </origin>
                     <provenance>
                        <p><name type="person" role="owner" key="JonJon071">Jón Jónsson</name> inherited the manuscript, of which this was part, after his father 
                           <name type="person" key="JonTho058" role="owner">Jón Þórðarson</name>. 
                           In <date when="1710">1710</date>, <name type="person" key="MarBer001" role="owner">Markús Bergsson</name> 
                           gave the larger manuscript to <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>, who rearranged the parts.
                           It is not known how the manuscript came to <name type="person" key="MarBer001" role="owner">Markús Bergsson</name>, 
                           but in his notes, <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>
                           mentions that <name type="person" key="SigSae001">Sigmundur Sæmundsson</name> 
                           is said to have been a previous owner <bibl>AM 435 a 4to, 82r</bibl>.</p>

                     <origin>The codicological unit war written in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace> by <name type="person" key="JonTho058">Jón Þórðarson</name>.
                       According to the colophon in the other parts of the original manuscript, it was written in 
                        <origDate notBefore="1651" notAfter="1700">the second half of the seventeenth century</origDate>.
                     </origin>
                     <provenance>
                        <p><name type="person" role="owner" key="JonJon071">Jón Jónsson</name> inherited the manuscript, of which this was part, after his father 
                           <name type="person" key="JonTho058" role="owner">Jón Þórðarson</name>. 
                           In <date when="1710">1710</date>, <name type="person" key="MarBer001" role="owner">Markús Bergsson</name> 
                           gave the larger manuscript to <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>, who rearranged the parts.
                           It is not known how the manuscript came to <name type="person" key="MarBer001" role="owner">Markús Bergsson</name>, 
                           but in his notes, <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>
                           mentions that <name type="person" key="SigSae001">Sigmundur Sæmundsson</name> 
                           is said to have been a previous owner <bibl>AM 435 a 4to, 82r</bibl>.</p>
