								<p>Before, the manuscript was bound in a grey cardboard binding from 
									<date notBefore="1771" notAfter="1780">1771-1780</date>. The pastedowns were made from
									two different sheets of 
								printed material and there are two stickers for the shelfmark and the running number on the spine. That older
								binding is stored in the same box as the manuscript.</p>

												<ref>AM 218 c 4to CU3</ref> or possibly <ref>AM 218 b 4to CU1</ref>.</note>

									<biblScope unit="page">488</biblScope></bibl>, but based on the lifetime of the scribe,
							the period can be narrowed down to the <origDate notBefore="1650" notAfter="1711">second half of the seventeenth century or early eighteenth century</origDate>.</p></origin>

								<p>Kålund suggests that <name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name> may have
									received the codicological unit as part of a larger collection from <name type="place">Leirárgarðar</name> <bibl><ref target="KKKat">Katalog I</ref>, 
										<biblScope unit="page">488</biblScope></bibl>. However, <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni</name>'s note may rather apply to <ref>AM 218 c 4to CU3</ref> only, 
									since this part and the previous CU carry a separate note in the hand of 
									<name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni</name> and there is no 
									obvious connection between <name type="person" key="HalTho002">Halldór Þorbergsson</name> and <name type="place">Leirárgarðar</name>. 
									It is thus unsure, when or how <name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name>
									came into the possession of this leaf, but may as well have received it from the author together with the first leaf (see above).
