						black ink. On the spine, there are two stickers for the shelfmark as well
						as the running number. The pastedown is made from printed material.</p></binding>

								<p>The codicological unit was presumably written in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace>. 
									Kålund dates it to <origDate
										notBefore="1690" notAfter="1710">ca. 1700</origDate>
									<bibl><ref target="KKKat">Katalog I</ref>,
										<biblScope unit="page">487</biblScope></bibl>.</p>

								<p>Kålund suggests that <name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni Magnússon</name> may have
									received the codicological unit as part of a larger collection from Leirárgarðar (now <ref>AM 218 a-c 4to</ref>) <bibl><ref target="KKKat">Katalog I</ref>, 
										<biblScope unit="page">488</biblScope></bibl>. However, it is clear that <name type="person" key="ArnMag001">Árni</name>'s
										note (now found in <ref>AM 218 c 4to</ref>) does not apply to all of the texts. Instead, it may rather apply to <ref>AM 218 c 4to CU3</ref>,
								but it cannot be ruled out either that it refers to the present leaves.</p>
