                            <additions><p>In the lower margin of fol. <locus>1r</locus>, a later addition in brown ink reads "PZ"(?) (see signatures).</p></additions>
                            <bindingDesc><binding><p>The binding is a plain grey cardboard binding. 
                                There is no writing on the front cover, but two stickers for the shelfmark and the running number can be found on the spine.
                                The pastedown of the binding is made from the same paper as the flyleaves, 
                                which has a watermark dating it to <date when="1716">1716</date> (see watermark).
                            There are a few stains on the front cover.</p></binding></bindingDesc>

                                The AM-slip is made of the margin of a leaf from another manuscript with writing in Danish.</p></accMat> 
                            <origin>The codicological unit was written in the 
                                <origDate notBefore="1601" notAfter="1700">seventeenth century</origDate><bibl>Katalog I, <biblScope unit="page">12</biblScope></bibl>,
                                presumably in <origPlace key="IS">Iceland</origPlace><bibl>Handrit.is</bibl>.
                            <provenance><p>According to the AM-slip, these 11 leaves belonged to a book with a
                                green binding that <name type="person" role="owner" key="ArnMag001">Árni
                                    Magnússon</name> received from the pastor 
                                <name type="person" key="JonTor001" role="owner">Jón Torfason</name>
                                of <name type="place">Breiðabólstaður</name>.</p>
